Qahwah House - Fishers Indiana: Reviews & Ratings
The best strawberry matcha I’ve ever had. Everyone is so friendly & the pastries are incredible. It’s the perfect atmosphere to go sit and work and enjoy a treat or hang out with friends!!!
This place is very nice in the inside. The customer service is great too. The coffee surprised me because you can taste the quality of the coffee. Very good! The pastries were also delicious! The pistachio dream cake is amazing and so is the spinach and feta pastry. I’m in love!
My business partner and I went in this morning and we absolutely love it here. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The owners are working right with their staff, which speaks volumes. I had the Americano with cardamom and one of their honey cakes. The cardamom adds something special to the coffee. It’s delicious. 10 out of 10
This place is fantastic, it's one of my favorite coffee shops I have been to anywhere. Where else can you get a pot of Turkish coffee? Try one of the speciality lattes or cappuccinos and just order any of the pastries or cakes because you can't go wrong. I came once and have been back twice because it's a great quiet place to study while drinking some of the best coffee in town. Great service too!
Visited this place on June 15, 2025, I tried their traditional coffee, Yemen is considered the birthplace of coffee cultivation, and its coffee has been enjoyed for centuries. Yemeni coffee is renowned for its exceptional quality and unique flavor profile, stemming from a combination of factors including traditional farming methods, unique terroir, and careful processing. Its rich coffee, some similarity to Turkish coffee taste. The decor add a sense of charm and unique character to the space, feel comfortable and welcoming, making you want to stay and relax. There are images about traditional coffee trade routes for centuries and topical Yemen cities, takes you to a different time. There are verity of snacks and traditional Baklawa.
I stopped into Qahwah House to get some work done while my daughter was in art camp. The tea was amazing, and their wifi was good for work too! The barista was friendly and walked me, the whitest of white ladies, through the menu. I love a good strong pot of spicy tea (think cloves, cardimon, and cinnamon) and that's what I got, along with a to die for pastry! Parking was easy and I noticed they had vegan options, but did not try any. The atmosphere was a noisy, family atmosphere, which I like, but want to point out in case it is not your cup of tea.
Oh honey I’m so hooked! I’ve been trying out coffee spots in Indy and heard awesome reviews about this place. Finally took the drive to Fishers yesterday and I was amazed you guys!! The vibe and ambiance is inviting, welcoming, and clean. The employees were friendly and patient as well. I ordered the pistachio latte with the strawberry cheesecake and basbousa. LOVEEEEEEEE their coffee! I’m not even an avaid coffee drinker and it was strong, smooth, creamy and flavorful. I also had never tried basbousa and initially didn’t add it to my order until I went back to get it. Yall- I am in LOVE with those freaking basbousas!! It probably seems like I’m being over dramatic- I’m not. They are delicious. However, I wasn’t a huge fan of the strawberry cheesecake, luckily the basbousa made up for that. I love that they are open late for people who need a space to go do work or chill somewhere that isn’t a club or lounge. Additionally- I wanted to support this establishment as I had been made aware of the tensions that they’ve been receiving lately. In all seriousness, I hope this place grows and eventually opens another location not so far north. I would love to see this closer to downtown Indy. I will be going back tomorrow for another latte and basbousa lol or two!
THE DRINKS I ordered the iced caramel latte. Immediately after ordering, I was because I wouldn't like it because I normally tell the barista to make it less sweet but I was happy to find it was perfectly balanced! Not too sweet and just strong enough, just how I like it! THE FOOD I ordered a pecan pastry but they accidentally gave me a chocolate croissant. When I let them know, the manager was nice enough to let me keep the croissant and said he'd bring me the pastry. Both were served warm and the pecan pastry was delicious. But let me tell you about this chocolate croissant. I think they knew what they were doing when they "accidentally" gave us the wrong item... because we immediately went back for another LOL! The chocolate was so warm and gooey- definitely a happy accident! My friends also ordered a strawberry cheesecake, triple chocolate, tomato and olive pastry, and hazelnut crunch. The "crunch" in the hazelnut crunch could have been crunchier but it still added good texture. Overall, the pecan pastry and chocolate croissant were the overall favorites! THE VIBES The restaurant was clean and well managed. The staff was nice and despite a few order errors (wrong pastry and cinnamon in a drink) they were kind enough to immediately fix it! So excited for this new addition to the Indy food scene! We'll be back!
